May 2026 Release Overview


We are pleased to share the latest enhancements included in our May release.
Below is a summary of what’s new in this release.

USER INTERFACE MODERNISATION AND EXPERIENCE

FPM continues to modernise the user experience, delivering a cleaner look and smoother workflows.

Login & Loading Forms (FSW88272) The FPM user interface has been refreshed with a clean, modern design that enhances both usability and visual consistency.
The login screen now features a streamlined, card style layout with clear typography, improved field alignment, and automatic cursor focus on the username field.
Unnecessary elements have been removed to create a simpler, branded entry point.
The loading process has been unified into a single screen with a continuous progress indicator and smoother status transitions, offering a more polished, seamless experience from application launch through to full readiness.

User Profiles and Application Skins (FSW88273) The User Profile form has been redesigned with a logical, tab based layout for clearer organisation and easier navigation.
Tabs now include Appearance, Grids & Data, Notifications, Files & Folders, and Startup Pages, each grouping related preferences logically.
The Compact UI Mode option has been removed and is now applied automatically based on the selected skin, enabled for FPM skins and disabled for others.

Under Appearance, users can select from several modern skins and two icon styles:

  • Colourful (default): vibrant, multi‑colour icons
  • Contrast: monochrome icons that automatically adapt to light or dark skins

A new, centralised Icon Manager ensures consistent icon rendering and styling across all modules, contributing to a more cohesive and modern visual interface.

Collapsible Screen Dividers (FSW83809)
The collapsible screen divide bars across FPM (used to expand or contract panels) have been upgraded to be compatible with newer .NET Core versions. This change ensures consistent behaviour of screen layouts and improved stability when docking, resizing, or hiding panels.

Password View Toggle (FSW88193) A new “eye” icon allows users to temporarily view entered passwords before committing, reducing login errors with complex credentials.

WORKFLOW MANAGER ENHANCEMENTS

Workflow Manager – User Interface Enhancements (FSW67239) The Workflow Manager has been fully modernised with a clean, flat design interface that improves usability, readability, and visual consistency across all workflow views.

Day Process Workflows
The older gradient style layout has been replaced with a modern, colour coded diagram featuring clear process blocks and streamlined navigation:

  • Distinct flat colours now indicate each status — green = complete, yellow = not started, blue = in progress, red = failed
  • Smart connector arrows display dependencies and update dynamically as processes run.
  • Clicking a step opens a small action bar with Process, Reverse, Report, and View Log options; double‑clicking executes the step immediately, right‑clicking opens the full menu.

Workflow Overview (Bulk Pricing / Multi‑Portfolio Monitoring) The overview diagram now shows aggregated portfolio statuses, using colour to represent the overall outcome and a multi‑colour progress bar beneath each step — green = complete, blue = in progress, red = failed, with consistent zoom and pan behaviour.

Fund of Funds Hierarchy The legacy hierarchy control has been replaced with a clean tree diagram using flat blue nodes that show both fund code and name.
Double clicking a node opens the associated pricing workflow automatically.

REPORTING AND PERFORMANCE DATA IMPROVEMENTS

Portfolio Historic Yield (FSW66574)
The Portfolios Historic Yield (PO‑HY) report now includes two additional columns:Average NAV and Distribution CPU, displayed alongside existing yield figures.

Performance TWRR History Export (FSW87781) A new data source, usp_Performance_TwrrHistory, has been added for exporting Time‑Weighted Rate of Return (TWRR) performance history.
A corresponding report, PF‑TWRR‑HISTORY, has been introduced to the Reporting Module, allowing users to view or export historical performance data directly from FPM.

ZARONIA Index Filtering (FSW87792) The Instrument Compounding Rates screen now includes a Reset Index filter for easier identification of instruments based on reset frequency.
A matching Reset Index column in the results grid improves visibility and data management.

ASISA Transactions – Full Instrument Code Support (FSW88194)
The ASISA Transactions report now supports both shortened and full instrument codes:

  • InstrumentCode returns the complete, untruncated FPM instrument code
  • ASISAInstrumentCode remains at 16 characters for ASISA‑format compliance

Default layouts continue to use ASISAInstrumentCode, ensuring existing reports are unaffected. Clients who require the full code for mapping or integration purposes can now customise or create layouts that use InstrumentCode, gaining full visibility without impacting standard ASISA reporting.

CASHFLOW FORECAST

Cash Forecasting (FSW69608)
The Cash Forecast process now incorporates unprocessed Corporate Actions that generate income, such as dividends, interest, unit‑trust distributions, rental income, and capital distributions.
This improvement ensures forecasts reflect all upcoming inflows accurately, even before processing.

COMPLIANCE

Compliance Rules – Deactivation Option (FSW88035) An Active flag has been introduced for Compliance Rules, allowing users to deactivate rules without deleting them.
Inactive rules are automatically excluded from evaluation runs.

The Compliance Rules list now displays each rule’s active status and, by default, shows only active rules. Users can toggle the view to include inactive rules when required.
Within the Rule Editor, a rule’s active state can be managed directly — new rules are created as active by default.

The Rule Set Details view has also been enhanced to distinguish between:

  • The rule’s status within a specific rule set (enabled / disabled), and
  • Its global active / inactive status.

This clear separation helps users identify whether a rule has been disabled at the rule set level or deactivated entirely. In addition, the customer facing vw_ComplianceRules view now includes an IsActive field, enabling clients to incorporate rule activity filters into their own compliance reports and queries.

IMPORT TEMPLATES AND FILE HANDLING

Report Output for Hosted Clients (FSW87834) Hosted environments can now save FPM reports directly to local file systems.
A secure dialog window appears to browse local drives, consistent with Import Template exports.

Custom File Dialogs (FSW88095) The standard Windows “Save As” dialog has been replaced with FPM’s custom file browser, designed to work seamlessly in hosted environments such as Citrix and Remote Desktop Services (RDS).
This enhancement ensures users can save files directly to their local drives via \tsclient shares, which were previously inaccessible through the standard Windows dialog.

When selecting “Save As” from any document viewer — including PDFs, Excel files, reports, graphs, classifications, or workflows — the new dialog opens in Save Mode, featuring:

  • A clear, structured layout with a directory tree and file list for navigation
  • A suggested, editable file name pre populated by FPM
  • File type filtering, automatic extension handling, and confirmation prompts for overwriting existing files

For bulk save operations (such as exporting multiple documents at once), the system automatically switches to a folder selection view, allowing users to pick a destination directory rather than entering individual filenames.

Excel Import Templates – Enhanced Metadata (FSW88239)
When generating an Excel Import Template from FPM, the exported file now includes built in guidance to make data preparation more intuitive and self contained.

Each column header is colour coded to indicate its requirement level:

  • Salmon / Peach – Required fields (must be completed before import)
  • Light Green – Optional fields (may be left blank)
  • Light Purple – Conditionally required fields (depend on other field values)

In addition, hover comments have been added to every header, providing helpful metadata such as:

  • A description of the field’s purpose
  • Available or valid values (e.g. TRUE / FALSE, ACTIVE / INACTIVE / SUSPENDED)
  • Details of when a conditional field becomes mandatory (for example “Required if DualListed is TRUE”)

With this improvement, users no longer need to reference external data dictionary documentation as the template itself now contains the information necessary to complete and validate imports correctly, reducing setup time and preventing common data entry errors.

DASHBOARDS

Interactive Dashboards (FSW88055) The new Dashboards feature introduces interactive, visual reporting directly within FPM.
Users can design real time dashboards using existing Report Instances as data sources, displaying information through charts, grids, gauges, and maps, all via an intuitive drag and drop designer.

Dashboards are fully interactive, allowing users to filter, drill down, and explore data dynamically. They can be set as personal startup pages, refreshed on demand, or automatically updated each morning to ensure current information.
Access and visibility are controlled by standard FPM security permissions, ensuring users see only the data they’re authorised to view.
